I’m a delegate. Now what?
The candidates will be receiving your names and phone numbers. They have been set up with a VoterClick account which allows them email you directly without having your email address. If you would like to give any of the candidates your email address so they can email you directly, without having to go through our email program, you may do that.
Remember to use the party platform when vetting candidates.
First, find out who is running. Are you a state delegate, or county delegate?
If you are a state delegate, CLICK HERE to start finding out more information about the candidates you will be voting on at the state convention.
Now you can start contacting the candidates directly, do online research, attend events, etc. If you are not receiving emails from the party or the candidates, please send an email to email@example.com to make sure we have your correct email address.
IF YOU ARE A STATE DELEGATE: Please plan on a very long day. There will be several proposals to vote on this year as the state party chair bypassed the Constitution & Bylaws Committee and will be directing all proposals to the convention delegates. You will be expected to vote on these at the convention, so study them. Some of them will further gut our Republic, so beware. You can read the proposals here 2018-Convention-Amendments.
The COUNTY CONVENTION is going to be held at Weber High on April 14th. CLICK HERE for more information.
The STATE CONVENTION is going to be held at the Maverik Center on April 21st. CLICK HERE for more information.
Note: If you are unable to attend the convention, please notify your precinct chair as soon as possible, so they can appoint a replacement before the April 7th replacement deadline. Click here for replacement guidelines.
