Meet the secretary candidates:
City: Pleasant View
About: “I’ve been an HOA secretary; which included keeping records, doing mailings and taking minutes. I’ve had experience running a counseling office and acting as the secretary for the counselors at their office. Off and on for the last 10 years I have been on a scouting committee acting as the advancement specialist; which included doing interviews, keeping records updated, procuring and organizing awards, and setting up court of honors. I am also very familiar with using computers and running many programs.
I am a stay at home mom of 6. Three of which are grown and the other three are older teenagers. This gives me plenty of time to fulfill the responsibilities of secretary if I should get this position.”
About: “My name is Jake Sawyer, I have been involved in the Weber county Republican Party for 6 years. In my time I have been a precinct vice chair, precinct chair, state delegate, county delegate and volunteered many hours helping doing what needs to be done Weber county Republican Party events and activities. I was born and raised in Weber County. I love this beautiful area we get to call home. My hope is to be able to serve this great community to the best of my ability.”
About: “While in California I was the alternate for Assemblyman and Senator William J. “”Pete”” Knight for approximately five years with the 36th Assembly District in Antelope Valley, Los Angeles, County. I was treasurer for approximately four years.
I have been recording secretary for several large organizations one of which was a Government Communications Council of over two hundred government agencies in the San Francisco Bay Area. I moved from the area and had to leave the organization. I received a letter of commendation upon my resignation.
I would greatly appreciate being considered for the secretary position.
